The Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Controller the position will be the first hire in the procurement function as the Company’s spend continues to increase year over year. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Support the design and maintenance of a best-in-class procurement framework in accordance with SOX controls and contribute to enhancing Company’s current processes.
  • Be point person on procure to pay software, Coupa, and perform company-wide trainings on the platform and administrative duties, including entering and modifying purchase orders and vendor management.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance a working relationship between the company and our suppliers.
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams to understand the requirements across different areas and ensure business requirements are met by suppliers.
  • Drive cost efficiencies through negotiations, review of vendors and competitive pricing.
  • Manage travel agency and travel function.
  • Work closely with Finance, Facilities, HR, IT, Legal, and R&D departments as needed.
  • Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in purchasing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Assertive, self-motivated, goal and result driven.
  • Proven negotiation skills with ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook skills in particular.
  • Experience with Coupa preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to anticipate events, prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with interdepartmental teams.
  • Innovative, team-player with high energy for our small company environment.

Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This role will require that the employee meet with company employees and work from the company’s offices on a hybrid schedule. Given that these essential functions of the role must be performed on-site, this position requires full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law.

The expected salary range for this role is $125,000 to $145,000. An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
