The Company: Eiger Biopharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to developing and commercializing novel products for the treatment of Orphan diseases. Eiger has built a diverse, late-stage portfolio of well-characterized product candidates with the potential to address diseases for which the unmet medical need is high, a novel biology for treatment has been identified, and for which an effective therapy is urgently needed. The Eiger management team has extensive experience in the clinical development and commercialization of a broad range of therapeutics, with special expertise in Orphan Designation drugs. Eiger is located in Palo Alto, California. Position: Associate Director/ Director, Financial Planning & Analysis- currently a remote role Summary Description: This role is an integral part of the finance organization and the company at large. The AD/Dir, FP&A is responsible for managing the company’s strategic long-range financial plan, rolling forecast, annual budgets, and analysis of financial results. This person is also responsible for preparing and presenting financial information, including variance analysis, scenario and portfolio planning and company metrics, to the senior management team/board, as applicable. This is a key position in the finance organization and will provide many opportunities for growth and development with frequent interactions with executive management and a key role in preparing analyses that will support decision-making across the business. The position reports to the Vice President of Finance and will work closely with the CFO. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
