Imminent royalty stream from program discovered using platform within a strategic partnership. Expecting to raise “cross-over” capital in 2021 and planning on IPO within 9-18 months. Seeking an ambitious and experienced Finance professional to join the team. Position Summary In this position, you will report to the Chief Business Officer and oversee accounting operations as well as provide business insight and financial analysis related to key business and corporate development activities. You will work closely with clinical, research, manufacturing and senior management teams to provide financial operations necessary to advance clinical and IND-stage programs and research platform. You will be directly responsible for leading the budgeting, monthly close and financial tracking and reporting related processes and other key accounting and finance obligations. A dynamic and fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude and a strong culture of innovation, initiative and ownership. You must be excellent at multi-tasking and have the courage to push the boundaries and assume a broad array of responsibilities. Primary responsibilities
Desired Qualifications and Experience The controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a life science company. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. Key skills and experience:
