Job Title: Payroll/ Stock Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly-motivated Payroll and Stock Administrator to administer the company’s payroll and equity programs.  In this position you will own both the payroll and equity systems and be responsible for process implementation and optimization. Attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the highest ethical standards are required.

Responsibilities include:
Equity

  • Administer the company’s equity programs
  • Manage all participant equity plan transactions (grants, exercises, tax withholding, releases, forfeitures, etc.) and ensure they are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner.
  • Manage ESPP enrollment windows and purchases, ensuring compliance with ESPP program
  • Assist the Company’s Associate General Counsel with trading window communications, trade clearances  and blackout periods
  • Responsible for all tax payments, statements, documents, clearances, support and filings
  • Prepare ASC 718 valuation inputs for the valuation of option grants
  • Prepare stock-based compensation expense entries
  • Prepare equity rollforward and disclosures for 10-Q, 10-K, and proxy
  • Report monthly equity-related activity to senior management
  • Work closely with the Legal Department to prepare Board and Committee materials regarding equity grants and related matters
  • Own and bolster stock training for all employees, and serve as a company-wide resource on all equity matters

Payroll

  • Prepare and process payroll using ADP, including validation of all inputs to employee payroll files, generate W-2s and all related accounting processes such as journal entries and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws, as well as company's payroll and benefit policies and procedures
  • Manage reporting of taxes, 401K, and other benefits
  • Oversee payroll systems and related technical areas including inbound/outbound interfaces, earning/deduction code set-up
  • Remit or review tax filings and payments by collecting and verifying data; preparing federal, state and local tax reports and W2 statements
  • Be a company-wide resource on payroll matters

Other

  • Provide support to the Finance and Accounting team as needed
  • Other ad hoc projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient with Equity Edge and ADP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate across departments and at all levels, serving as a Company-wide resource to all employees
  • CPP and/or CEP certification preferred
  • SOX 404b exposure a plus
