Joe Quinlan is Bank of America's Managing Director and Chief Market Strategist, Merrill Wealth Management and oversees the development and implementation of macro investment strategies, with a particular focus on U.S. sector strategies, the emerging markets and developed markets.

Joe is the author, co-author, or contributor to over twenty books, most recently “Thirsty Nation: Priorities for India’s Water Sector." He authored “The Last Economic Superpower.” He has published more than 125 articles on economics, trade and finance that have appeared in such venues as Foreign Affairs, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. He regularly appears on CNBC, as well as Bloomberg television, PBS and other media venues.
