Ram Kumar is an Associate Partner in Radford’s Executive Compensation Practice. Ram has more than 15 years of experience in executive and equity compensation, and corporate governance. Ram works with clients that vary in size complexity across a range of industries, maintaining a strong focus in high-growth companies in the technology and life sciences sectors. Ram has extensive experience working with companies making private-to-public transitions.
Prior to joining Radford, Ram was an assistant vice president in the executive compensation practice of Aon Consulting, and before joining Aon had worked in the corporate governance industry for a number of years , including more than four years at the proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). While at ISS, Ram led the US research group charged with analyzing governance and compensation issues across most public US companies and making proxy recommendations to institutional investors of those companies.
Ram earned a bachelor of arts from Johns Hopkins University. He is a frequent speaker on various compensation topics and published in industry journals, and is based in Boston.
