Dan Lujan

Dan Lujan is a Senior Manager in EY’s Bay Area Assurance practice, primarily focused on serving life sciences clients.

Dan was previously the National Life Sciences Assurance resident for EY’s National Professional Practice Group based in New York, NY. In that role, Dan was responsible for providing interpretive accounting, auditing and regulatory guidance relevant to clients and engagement teams within the life sciences industry.

Dan also served as an Accounting Resident within the National Professional Practice Group in which he was responsible for facilitating accounting consultations and writing thought leadership associated with matters relating to: revenue recognition, business combinations, consolidation, intangible assets (including goodwill), collaborative arrangements and research and development. Dan spent two years based in London as part of the EMEIA Capital Markets team. During his time in London, Dan primarily served life sciences clients across Europe and Asia by providing support to clients and engagement teams (Ch1 and Ch2) related to: initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, SOX 404 implementation, GAAP conversions, PCAOB inspections, and other cross-border transaction issues..

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dan is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of California and New York and he is a member of the American Institute of  Certified Public Accountants
